ISAN & SUN EARTH DAY 2010
The SUN EARTH DAY done earlier in the afternoon (same day, Saturday March 20 but different site)at Bagong Nayon II Natl High School was participated by 60 students but the evening astrocamping was participated by 700+ students! The Sun was viewed (for free) by 60 participants (high school students)using a PST telescope set up by Dr Armando Lee and Victor Espartero.
The astrocamping done that night was organized and set up by school officials and Dr Armando Lee, Mr Bernardo Esporlas and their associates of Astrocamp Educational Tours. Lectures, film showing, singing and dancing were added to the telescope viewing sessions which made the event highly appealing to the high school students!
